The award is part of the Blue Cross-Blue Shield of MI (BCBSM) Senior Advisory Council Community Service Award program.  The award is a Diana C. Jones Certificate of Merit awarded to Lending Hands of Michigan, Inc. for outstanding service on behalf of Michigan seniors.  The certificate was awarded at the annual Older Michiganians Day event held on June 20, 2012 on the lawn of the Michigan State Capitol.  The award was presented by Bob Brown, Chair of the BCBSM Senior Advisory Council.
